Modulnova really is a different kitchen
From the very first Modulnova kitchen we saw, we thought: this is it. Modulnova really is a different kind of kitchen. It is the combination of cabinetry with doors from the floor to the ceiling, kitchen worktops that continue in them and the size of the cabinets.
Before we walked into Wijnand Kitchens, we had roughly an idea ourselves how we wanted it in terms of layout. But we decided on the exact details together. Suggestions came up that we hadn't thought of ourselves at first, such as having the kitchen continue into the cabinet wall. Because it fits together so well, the wall has become part of the kitchen.
What are the features
Below is a brief list of the materials used and details.
Materials
A Modulnova kitchen type Skill. The cooking island and wall sink are in Rovere Carbone, the tall units in Riace (bronze colour).
Cooker
A four-zone induction hob with integrated extractor from the Miele brand.
Built-in appliances
The kitchen is equipped with a combi-steam oven, warming drawer, dishwasher, freezer and cooler. Boiling water is provided by the Quooker.
Worksheet
The worktop is ceramic in Calacatta silk finish and is fitted with a stainless steel sink.
What's special about this kitchen
The tall floor-to-ceiling cabinets flow into the protruding sink area. Because the entire back wall is included in the design, the kitchen is involved in the living space. The tall cabinets with the oven and wine cooler are integrated into the wall. This clever solution ensured that an island could still be planned in the limited space available.
Atmosphere impression of the kitchen
The materials are thin, sleek and beautifully finished. Details that immediately made us happy. Because the rooms flow into each other, everything has become one. We still enjoy this every day.
